Welcome to  “ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES PROJECT”. This is planned to involve all the ministries, the families and individuals of our congregation, as well as an outreach to the other churches in our community.

“IN A NUTSHELL” – Angel Food Ministries provides a box quality brand name food once a month for just $30.00- (that is sufficient to feed a family of four for a week or a single elderly for a month). This package includes meats, veggies, fruit and eggs. In addition, they offer “specialty packages” designed for the seniors, holidays, meat combos, and Grill box. The program is open to all. You can purchase as many boxes as you wish. The orders are made two weeks prior to delivery, usually the last Saturday of the month. Checks, Cash, Money Orders, as well as Food Stamps are accepted. 

“IF YOU ARE WONDERING – HOW CAN I HELP?”………VOLUNTEER

The delivery is at 6:00 am the last Saturday of the month. We will need volunteers to set up tables, intake, unloaders, sorters, packers, checkers, and one egg sitter (not on them), and clean-up crew. The entire operation takes about 5 ½ hours. We are planning two crews of Angel volunteers. The first crew from 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM; the second crew from 8:30 to 11:30. Each crew will consist of 12 volunteers.

This is a great opportunity for all to provide a service for those that have a need as well as outreach to the surrounding communities. AFM served over 500,000 boxes of food to over half the states last month. There are 5 sites in Sussex County. Seaford would be in the center of them all.
