Lord Jesus, Savior of the world and King of Peace, watch over our sons and daughters, in the service of our Country. Protect them from any physical  dangers in their military life.  Keep them close to You and help them live the Commandments. 

Watch after all those fellow Americans; serving, previously served, injured, and to those now with you in Heaven, who have given the ultimate sacrafice.

Daily Prayer for Our Nation:

Almighty Father, source of all our blessings, help us to trust in You.

Please bless our country with Your care.  Keep safe, our men and women in uniform, here and in far away lands.  Help their families, and all of our families to rely on You and Your love for each of Your children.  Stretch Your hand to protect the innocent, here and abroad.  Make our country wise and strong, generous and accepting - a symbol of what is best in each of us.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
